Pseudocheilinus Hexataenia
Pseudocheilinops Wrasse are small, shy and secretive fish generally found among heavy coral growth. Pseudocheilinops Wrasse should be added to a large well-established aquarium with plenty of swim room as they are open water swimmers. Provide plenty of rockwork with cracks, caves and crevices for hiding. Pseudocheilinops can be kept with other peaceful tank mates but only 1 male per aquarium. Wrasse are hermaphrodites meaning they start as juveniles/females but at some point in their life may turn into a male. Provide an aquarium with a tight-fitting lid as they may jump.
The Six Line Wrasse are also known as the Six Banded Wrasse. Males show a red body with six dark blue horizontal stripes. Females will have a subdued colour and smaller size. Six Line Wrasse can grow up to 8cm in length.
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 200L or larger for this species.
Due to variations within species and age of fish, your item may not look identical to the image provided.
