Centropyge Angelfish should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim. Plenty of rock work, caves, cracks and crevices should be provided for grazing and hiding. Centropyge Angelfish may pick at mobile and sessile invertebrates. A diet of marine meaty, angelfish and algae-based foods should be provided multiple times daily. Care will need to be taken when handling Angelfish as they have cheeks pines, avoid using nets when handling. Centropyge Angelfish are hermaphroditic meaning they may have both sex organs at some point in their lives. May be territorial towards other Angelfish with the same shape, however if added to a large enough aquarium and at the same time Dwarf Angelfish may live harmoniously.

The Flameback Angelfish is also known as the Brazilian Angelfish. Flameback Angelfish are richly coloured, mainly a purplish-blue colour with a yellow orange upper body. The Flameback Angelfish is very similar to the Orangeback Angelfish from Africa. There is very little colour difference other than the Flameback Angelfish having a yellow tail. The dorsal, anal, and pectoral fins are accented with a neon blue coloration. Flameback Angelfish can grow up to 8cm in length.

We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 55 gallons or larger for this species.
