Neotrygon Kuhlii
Neotrygon Stingrays should be added to very large aquariums with wide open swim areas and a good filter system. Stingrays also require a fine sand bed as they may partially bury themselves in the sand, concealing themselves from predators. Neotrygon also prefer rocky, coral reef areas be sure to provide some rockwork in the aquarium. Stingrays may be sensitive to copper, do not treat aquarium with copper products. Provide Stingrays with a diet rich in meaty based foods. They are social among their own species. Ensure a tight-fitting lid as Stingrays may jump.
Blue Spotted Maskray are also sometimes known as the Kuhl's Stingray or the Blue Spotted Stingray, are an olive green with blue spots. Blue Spotted Stingray can grow up to 45cm in length.
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 1000L or larger for this species.
